Here 4 The Dads Podcast
Myer Krah, a United States Naval Academy graduate and Navy officer, was raised in Durham, NC, and embodies a lifelong commitment to leadership and family. While serving in the Navy, he developed a passion for exploring the challenges faced by fathers, especially in military life. As a father of five, Myer recognized the need for open conversations about fatherhood and took action by launching the “Here 4 The Dads” podcast, a platform to inspire and empower fathers through impactful discussions. Beyond the podcast, Myer is also a children’s book author, weaving family values and adventure into his stories, inspired by his experiences raising his own children. His journey from military service to fatherhood advocacy reflects a steadfast dedication to building stronger families and communities.
The journey into fatherhood is transformative yet often unsupported, leaving many fathers underprepared and undervalued. I started Here 4 The Dads LLC to fill this gap, creating a space where fathers are seen, celebrated, and equipped to thrive. Fatherhood isn’t just a role—it’s a pivotal opportunity to shape the future. By providing accessible resources, actionable guidance, and empowering training, my goal is to elevate the role of fathers from “supporting cast” to integral, equal partners in their families and communities. Our mission is to encourage, empower, and equip fathers by delivering practical tips, comprehensive resources, and innovative training that prepare them for every step of their fatherhood journey.

In this conversation, Bret Green discusses the vital role of fathers in shaping their children's character and the importance of teaching them how to treat others. He emphasizes the need for vigilance in recognizing potential threats to children, often from familiar faces rather than strangers. The discussion also touches on the challenges of modern parenting, including the decision to avoid sleepovers and the importance of fostering empathy and kindness in children. Bret shares his fears about leaving a legacy for his children, focusing on the values of leadership and compassion, and the significance of leading by example in everyday interactions.
Welcome to Here 4 the Dads—a space where fatherhood meets real conversation. I’m your host, Myer—a proud husband, a veteran, and a father of five: four wild boys and, yep, now one baby girl. This platform was born from a simple truth—men, especially fathers, aren’t talking enough. That’s why this community matters. It’s a space to learn, to grow, and to know that you’re not in the dark alone when the hard stuff hits.
